The occasion for this celebration wasn’t to mark a rite of passage; it was merely a celebration of friends, life, health and summer! Held in a Center City Courtyard, it was more fun than going to a cramped restaurant with a large group and more sophisticated than your traditional summer BBQ. Drawing inspiration from the Swedish tradition of Midsummer, all of the women were adorned with hair garlands made of fresh flowers. Hairstyles by Tasha at AMS Salon were topped with artfully constructed flower garlands or tiaras made by Claudia from Petit Jardin en Ville.
We had so much fun setting the 16 person table. The floral runner in the center is a really nice alternative to centerpieces – especially when you want your guests to engage in conversation. This stunning creation was again done by Claudia from Petit Jardin en Ville.
The plates from Anthropologie inspired the floral arrangements. And you’ll notice the place cards were made with a simple decal on each coaster by Robyn from Chick Invitations. The coaster was a small gift for the guests.
